Hardware Services Inventory Optimization Planner

Scope of work:

  • BER Management
  • Prepare BER cost saving report
    • Manage the BER process end to end ensuring that products have the proper status (repairable status in order to ensure that products cheaper to purchase than repair are declared as BER and less expensive to repair than to purchase are declared as Repairable)
    • Monitor BER "due to enough stock" if criteria still valid
    • Provide ad-hoc BER reports as requested
    • Refurbishment priority check-activating and deactivating of interceptive message, maintaining refurbishment file
    • Manage Refurbishing process (Loading the Material Request into IST Tool, including refurbished product prices comparison quote (confirmed by Head of HWS Inventory Management) vs paid)
    • Verify the difference between the new Supply chain cost with the Supplier Refurbishment buy-back cost
    • Review GA repairable PN , which are uneconomical to repair and should be switched to BER

Candidate Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in engineering, sciences, supply chain

Scope of work

  • Ensure material is properly provisioned and positioned within the physical central and distributed warehouse network to enable achievement of customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Analyze and review periodically the available distributed warehouse network to trigger the establishment of new required warehouses to the Logistics Organization when the installed base is out of range to the existing warehouses

  • Monitor Regional Inventory levels and take actions to maintain operational and end of life levels at target plan
